LivingWorks safeTALK
safeTALK is an in-person workshop that teaches you how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support. All student staff are trained in safeTALK and HOEM hosts safeTALK trainings throughout the year that are open to all students. For dates, questions, or to register, please contact jarvis@hoem.ca.

LivingWorks ASIST
HOEM’s professional staff are trained in ASIST. LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day in-person workshop that trains individuals on how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.
