Flexible Housing for the Winter Semester
Whether you are coming for a single term or planning to stay longer, HOEM has options that work for you. Our one- or two-semester housing agreements give you the flexibility you need without locking into a 12-month commitment.
Move-In Ready Apartments
Choose a 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, or 4-bedroom apartment. You will have your own private bedroom and share a bathroom with just one other person (ensuite option available in select 3-bedrooms). Every apartment includes:
- A fully furnished bedroom and living space
- A kitchen equipped for cooking
- Access to in-building laundry
- Utilities and high-speed Internet
- In-suite cleaning every 2 weeks

Weekly Linen Service
Pack light. As an optional add-on, we provide sheets and towels and take care of weekly laundry for you. It is one less thing to worry about as you settle into your new home.

Common Questions about January Move-In
Can I stay for only one semester?
Yes. HOEM offers one-semester housing agreements for Winter term students, as well as two-semester stays if you are planning to remain through the Summer.
What is included in the fees?
Your fees cover a fully furnished apartment, all utilities, high-speed Internet, bi-weekly cleaning, and access to all of HOEM’s amenities.
Can I extend my stay if I decide to stay longer?
Yes. If you begin with a one-semester agreement and want to extend, you can request a second term, subject to availability.e
Do I need to bring my own bedding or towels?
As an optional add-on, HOEM provides sheets and towels and takes care of weekly laundering. You are welcome to bring your own if you like, but you do not need to.
Who will I live with?
You will share an apartment with other students. You will always have your own private bedroom and will share a bathroom with just one other person. Our 3-bedroom apartments come with an ensuite option.
Is HOEM close to my campus?
HOEM is located in downtown Toronto, near Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Toronto, OCAD University, George Brown, and more. With convenient access to public transit, getting around the city is easy.
What support is available if I am new to Toronto?
